«Enjoy morning tea or coffee, cake & biscuits at Truro.
«Travel on through to the river town of Blanchetown, home of Lock 1, the first of 13 locks and weirs built on the Murray River. Upon arrival at Berri, the heart of the orange and grape growing area, we will have a light lunch.
«Our next stop is the river land town of Monash, part of the Soldiers Settlers Scheme after World War 1 and of course home of the Monash Adventure Playground.
«Let’s find an ice-cream shop at Renmark where we can enjoy and ice-cream. Whilst here we will view the magnificent mural on the Yeats Menswear building honoring R M Williams.
«Drive to Orange World where we will take a guided tour on their miniature train. Hear about the production of oranges to orange juice and enjoy a refreshing drink.
«Travel onto Wentworth named by Charles Sturt in 1830 when he discovered the Murray and Darling Rivers met at this point. Visit the Old Wentworth Gaol and Wentworth Pioneer Museum and discover the history of Wentworth. Take a tour around Wentworth and see the wharf and statue of John Egge a riverboat captain who came to Wentworth in the 1870’s from China.
«Have free time to wander in Mildura and check out the shops and grab a bit to eat. Visit Bushells on Tenth Ye Olde Lolly Shop, there’s bound to be a treat that catches your eye. Explore Mildura Station Homestead, a re-creation of the first home built in Mildura circa 1847, again a former home of the Chaffey family.
«Time to relax back at our resort before our New Year’s Eve highlight.
«Back onto the coach and travel to the wharf to board the paddle steamer to begin our New Year’s Eve cruise along the River Murray. Enjoy a cold smorgasbord dinner and be treated to a Comedy Theatre Floorshow. Return to Mildura just before midnight to see the towns fire works display from the comfort of the paddle steamer.

«Visit the Australian Inland Botanic Gardens showcasing a range of Australian Natives from both arid & higher rainfall areas, with the first planting in 1991 by Lady and Sir Ninian Stephen. We will take a tractor/train ride with driver and running commentary.
«Visit Rio Vista mansion, built in 1890 and former home of the Chaffey family. Built in Queen Anne Style, the house features original furniture and fittings such as Italian marble fireplaces and Victorian leadlight and stained-glass windows.
«Onto Woodsie’s Gem Shop with it’s beloved Aladdin’s Cave: a captivating walk through display that offers a glimpse into the Wood’s private gemstone collection, sourced from around the world. Take a stroll through the fun filled acre of garden maze or maybe find a treasure to buy at the gift shop.
«On the journey home, but not before stopping at the Mildura Holden Motor Museum, the result of one man’s passion and love for Holden cars. What was once an un-realistic aspiration has now become the legacy of Mr Ron Morello. The showroom includes Holden vehicles starting from the first model made, to current models.
«Enjoy our farewell two course lunch at Renmark overlooking the beautiful Murray River.
«Enjoy your bed tonight with wonderful memories of how you said goodbye to 2025 and welcomed 2026.
